What we do
Life @ First Presbyterian Church
Life at a church is a community experience.  We come together for worship, fellowship, prayer, for social activities, with the ongoing awareness of reaching out into the community and world with the Good News of Jesus. Take time to explore the life within our church family.

There's a place for you in our small group ministries. Would you like to be in a Bible study? Exercise?  Fellowship? Here is a sample of the activities we offer:

Small Groups
The purpose of our small group ministry is to help people build relationships – with one another and with Jesus Christ. Our small groups are a place to discover your gifts for ministry and use those gifts in serving others; a place where each person is valued and honored, supported and held accountable, and treated with respect.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers): MOPS is a support group and fellowship time for Mothers of Preschoolers.  There are two groups. The first and third Thursday of the month at 9:15 in the Fireside room.

A Journey in God's Word: Do you want to read through the Bible in a year?  Do you want to get to know the words of Jesus better?  Here is a great option for your personal study. You can also join a small group to help support you on this journey.

Bible Studies: Are you interested in a Bible study? We have studies for men and women. Several groups meet through the week for in-depth studies. Check out our studies by clicking the tab on the top of this page.

Presbyterian Women: PW is a group of women who meet to do a variety of things, Bible Study, Crafts, mission work (Mission Stichers & other projects) and fellowship together as women.

Book Club: We offer two book clubs.  One on the second Friday evening of the month at 6:30 in the Fireside Room.  For more information, contact Ashley Henrickson at piilani143@gmail.com.  The other meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 9:30am in the Fireside Room.  For more information, contact Dorothy Bain.

Exercise: We have seniors who exercise three times a week at our Feeling Fit class. For more information click here.

Mission Stitchers: On the first Saturday of every month, people gather in the Fireside Room from 10:00 a.m. to noon to create shawls, hats, scarfs and other items to help for those in need.
